Your Role:
•Offer one-to-one and small group support to help students access learning and achieve personal goals.
•Lead and assist with creative, practical, and sensory-based activities that build confidence and engagement.
•Use trauma-informed and relational strategies to support emotional regulation and positive behaviour.
•Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, liaising with teachers, therapists, families, and external professionals to meet each pupil’s EHCP outcomes.
Who You Are:
•Experienced in supporting children with SEMH, SEND, or complex needs—ideally in an alternative provision or specialist setting.
•Calm, consistent, and grounded in your approach, even when challenges arise.
•Skilled at building positive relationships and creating safe learning spaces.
•Bonus if you have experience in the arts, outdoor learning, youth work, or therapeutic practice.
