This is a varied and rewardingrole combining administrative and reception responsibilities, ideal for someonewho enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment and takes pride indelivering excellent patient service. You will play an important role insupporting both patients and clinicians, helping to ensure the smoothday-to-day running of the practice.
Previous administrative experience anda strong background in customer service are essential for this role. Please note thatthis is a full-time position, and only full-time applications will beconsidered.
Main duties of the job
As part of our administrative team,your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
Welcoming and assisting patients bothin person and over the phone with a friendly, professional attitude.
Supportingpatients with online triage systems, including assisting with queries andsubmissions
Scanning incoming correspondence,letters, and results into patient records.
Read coding relevant clinical andadministrative information using SystmOne.
Maintaining accurate and confidentialpatient records in line with GDPR and practice protocols.
Working collaboratively within the teamto ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
* Business Administration (NVQ) or equivalent
Experience
* Experience working in a primary care environment is advantageous but not essential
* Strong background in customer service and administrative work is required
* A clear, polite telephone manner and excellent communication skills are essential for this role
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage a busy workload effectively
* Confident using IT systems and able to learn new software quickly
* A team player with a proactive and flexible approach to work
