We are seeking motivated individuals to work as a qualified Electricians within our dedicated multi-disciplinary Engineering team. This permanent full time position is available for an immediate start and the successful applicant will beinvolved in working a rotating roster including afternoon & weekend shifts, public holidays and participation in an on-call roster. The primary purpose of this position is to provide electrical maintenance and installation services to Grampians Health facilities, to relevant Australian Standards and Regulations and ensuring facilities and equipment are maintained and operated in a safe, compliant and efficient condition
Key Selection Criteria include:
Essential:
1. Trade qualified Electrician with current Victorian A Grade Electrical Licence
2. Demonstrated several years’ satisfactory experience, in commercial and industrial facilities
3. Mechanical aptitude to assist in maintenance of industrial machinery
4. Ability to work & communicate effectively within a team environment
5. Ability to work autonomously and prioritise work
6. Ability to be trained as a relieving operator for unattended 3MW Boilers
7. Participate in the rotating Boiler roster as a relieving Boiler Operator as required
8. Participate in afternoon shift, on call roster and provide afterhours service as required
9. Sound Literacy and computer skills, to maintain Engineering Department records as required
10. Computer skills required to monitor, control & diagnose faults in Equipment & Systems
11. Current Driving Licence
Desirable:
12. Experience in fault finding electronic systems & equipment
13. Experience in power generation
14. PLC operating experience
15. Experience in Computerised Building Management Systems
16. Knowledge and ability to follow plans and drawings
