We’re Hiring: Business Development Manager – London

Wellocks is looking for an outstanding Business Development Manager to join our team and help shape the future of premium hospitality.
The Role
As our new BDM, you’ll play a key role in growing existing accounts and winning new premium hospitality business. This is a food‑led, commercially focused role where you’ll be as comfortable talking margin as you are talking menus.
You'll be responsible for:
* Delivering sales, margin and growth targets
* Increasing share of wallet through identifying product and category gaps
* Winning new premium hospitality accounts aligned with the Wellocks brand
* Using a consultative, chef‑centric, menu‑led approach to introduce seasonal, specialist and premium ranges
* Positioning Wellocks as a primary or preferred supplier
* Managing a strong pipeline of new and existing opportunities
* Using CRM to maintain activity, pipeline and follow‑up
* Working collaboratively with category, operations and customer service teams to ensure excellent execution
What We’re Looking For
* Field sales / BDM experience
* Experience working with hospitality customers
* Proven success growing existing accounts and closing new business
* Credibility and confidence working with chefs and food‑led operators
* Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
* Full UK driving licence
* Foodservice or food wholesale background
* Knowledge of food categories and ingredients
* CRM experience
