The business line for which we are working on the position is Elmya EPC, a company specialising in the integrated management of turnkey projects for photovoltaic plants and utility-scale grids.
Health and Safety and Environmental Management in a Photovoltaic Plant: Their responsibilities will include acting as the Safety, Health, and Environmental Manager, reporting to the Project Manager.
Their duties will include:
* Reviewing plans and specifications to ensure compliance with safety and environmental requirements.
* Monitoring and controlling waste management.
* Conducting audits.
* Managing relationships with clients.
* Evaluating information to determine compliance with regulations.
* Monitoring and coordinating incidents and accident investigations in projects.
* Identifying and establishing the need for HSE training.
* Creating HSE documents (risk assessments, HSE plans, emergency response plans, client-specific procedures, etc.) and reviewing contracts from an environmental, health, and safety perspective.
* Developing and implementing emergency plans.
* Developing reports on hygiene measures.
* Creating corrective and preventive maintenance plans and action plans.
* Investigating incidents.
* Monitoring processes and compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental. Management system.
* Managing reports.
* Managing teams of people in the areas of Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Management of the project.
* Supporting the Quality department as Principal Designer.
* Signing initial audits and evaluations.
Requirements:
* NEBOSH and CDM
* Bachelor's / Diploma degree, preferably technical.
* Higher Technician in Occupational Health and Safety.
* Experience of at least 5 years as an Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Manager in an industrial construction project (preferably photovoltaic).
* Problem-solving skills and the ability to effectively lead teams, with good communication skills and proactive approach.
* Driver's license.
* Geographical availability.
