Gi Group are looking for experienced Class 2 drivers in Bury St Edmunds, for a temp to perm role
Pay rate for Class 2 Driver:
* Days £16.39 including holiday pay whilst with Gi (PAYE only no umbrellas)
* Nights £18.03 including holiday pay whilst with Gi (PAYE only no umbrellas)
Shifts for class 2 Driver:
* Day shift: 4 out of 7, including weekends, 04:30-07:00 starts
* Night shift : 3-5 out of 7, including weekends, 22:00-23:59 starts, no Saturday night work
HGV Class 2 Driver - Key Duties
* 3-10 drops per shifts
* Handball/loading and unloading
* 10-12 hours average shift length
We need drivers with the below:
* Class 2 UK licence, 6 months experience
* Current and valid CPC and Digi Tacho
* No more than 6 penalty points (no IN/DR/CD/DD/BA/TT endorsements on licence)
* Professional attitude
* Willingness and ability to move cages, using tail-lifts and loading/unloading
* Ability to work weekends essential
Assessment and 2 days of training required, this will be paid if successful
