About the role
The post is based in the Centre for Transport Studies' which hosts the MSc in Transport and Mobility Systems and contributes to teaching on the Civil Engineering BEng and MEng.
The main purpose of the job is to be module coordinator for Transport and Behaviour Change in the postgraduate MSC Transport and Mobility Systems and support the development of an inclusive and engaged departmental culture.
This role is eligible for hybrid working between 20% and 80% of time on-site as the teaching demands.
About you
Key requirements of the role are:
1. A PhD (or be close to completion) in a behavioural science or equivalent
2. Higher education or other relevant teaching qualification
3. Evidence of a strong background in behavioural science applied to transport research Experience of supervising postgraduate level research projects in transport/behaviour change
4. Demonstrated research experience in transport especially related to identifying interventions and applying behaviour change principles
5. Proven track record of working effectively both independently and as part of a team. Experience in marking coursework (essays, exam papers, and presentations) and giving constructive feedback to students.
