Sr. Manager - Financial Operations

">

The role of Sr. Manager - Financial Operations has become available due to internal promotion, continuing a 10-year trend of progression within the team.

">

You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, gain fantastic exposure across the business, and play a key role in the implementation of a new ERP system.

">

This includes reviewing and enhancing the structure, processes, and overall performance of the Management Accounts team.

">

Key responsibilities:

">
* Lead, develop, and support the Management Accounts team, ensuring strong performance, high engagement, and clear career progression through effective training, development, and succession planning.
">
* Oversee all P&L transactional accounting activities, ensuring the accurate and timely production of monthly Management Accounts.
">
* Maintain adequate resource and capability to manage day-to-day operations while supporting ongoing process improvements and enhancements.
">
* Review and optimize departmental processes and procedures to drive greater efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness in Management Accounting practices.
">
* Ensure all processes are clearly documented, regularly reviewed, and consistently followed.
">
* Maintain a robust internal control environment and implement improvements in line with audit recommendations.
">
* Serve as the key point of contact for Management Accounting across the wider business, building strong relationships with stakeholders.
">

Requirements:

">
* Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) with a keen eye for detail.
">
* Experience of using an ERP system in addition to manipulating and analyzing large volumes of data to support decision making.
">
* Ability to challenge existing processes to simplify and free up resources.
">
* Highly effective communicator with the ability to build effective working relationships with key stakeholders.
">
* Team management experience with a track record of development.
">
