Electronic Design Technician required, salary up to £30K DOE plus benefits. Full Time, Permanent based in Okehampton, Devon. This will be working Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5pm and will give you an opportunity to work for a leading UK specialist in their field!
Wise Employment are seeking an experienced Electronic Design Technician for one of our clients who is expanding due to exciting growth. This role will see you support the company’s products during their design, development and release into production along with attending field trials and providing technical assistance.
In order to be successful in this role of Electronic Design Technician, you will need to have;
1. The ability to use test equipment and electronic manufacturing and testing tools/equipment
2. The skills to produce reliable, robust and functional products and manufacture prototypes and test fixtures
3. The attributes to define, perform and report on testing of products and carry out technical documentation reviews
4. Confident computer skills (MS software) and a logical and methodical approach to tasks
5. Knowledge of fault finding and electronic diagnostics
6. Knowledge of electronic design and product manufacturing
7. Proven experience of managing sensitive and confidential data
8. The ability to ensure products meet quality standards
9. A qualification in Electronics or Engineering is essential
10. A Health and Safety and/or a Risk Assessment qualification or training is desirable
11. A full UK driving licence as travelling to site, client meetings and site visits will be required.
To achieve the higher salary, you will need to demonstrate your ability to meet the key criteria’s of the role by past experience and during the interview process.
