Role Overview
We are seeking a Finance Administrator either at Graduate or Entry Level to join our finance team. This is a hands‑on role suited to a detail‑oriented individual who thrives in a fast‑paced, growing business.
Job Requirements
* Advanced Excel skills, including data manipulation and reporting
* Working towards or intending to pursue ACCA / CIMA or other relevant financial qualification
* Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is desirable
* Experience in a finance administration role is desirable
We are looking for a highly organised and detail‑oriented individual with a strong interest in finance. You will have good Excel skills (or a willingness to develop them) and may have gained some exposure to finance or accounting through your studies, internships, or early work experience.
You are a clear and confident communicator, comfortable working with different teams such as retail and operations, and keen to learn how to produce accurate reports to support decision‑making.
Given LYMA’s rapid growth – including recent expansion into the US market – we are looking for someone who is adaptable and comfortable with a degree of change and ambiguity.
Job Responsibilities
Reporting
* Pull ad‑hoc reports and statements from QuickBooks
Payments & Reconciliations
* Review bank statements and reconcile balances in QuickBooks
* Process supplier invoices via Approvalmax
* Reconcile supplier accounts and bank transactions
* Maintain all prepayment schedules, including monthly journals
Wholesale
* Create and process customer invoices
* Produce debtor reports and manage the retail P&L report
* Act as the financial point of contact for new and existing retail customers
* Liaise with the wholesale team and customers regarding payment
Other
* Manage the finance email inbox on a daily basis
* Communicate with suppliers in a professional and timely manner
* Support management through data analysis and report building
* Administer the company expenses process, including credit cards and receipt reconciliation
* Assist with budgeting, month‑end and year‑end close, including accruals, prepayments and non‑current assets
* Assist Financial Controller with year‑end financial audit
* Potential to work towards completion of the ACCA / CIMA qualification or other relevant Financial qualification, supported by the business
* Hybrid working pattern with 4 days in office, 1 day working remotely per week
* 25 days a year holiday, plus one additional day for every year worked (up to an additional four days per year)
