Role and Responsibilities
As a dedicated SEN Teacher, you will be instrumental in shaping the lives of young learners with autism, ADHD, and severe learning difficulties. Youll craft engaging and tailored lessons, creating a structured and consistent classroom environment where these children can thrive. Youll be empowered to make a real difference, working collaboratively within a supportive team.
Main tasks include
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons aligned with the primary curriculum.
* Create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for students with complex needs.
* Employ effective behaviour management strategies to foster a positive classroom atmosphere.
* Provide personal care support as required.
* Collaborate with other professionals (e.g., therapists, teaching assistants) to develop and implement individualised education programs.
* Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Proven experience teaching children with special educational needs in a UK setting
* Experience working with children aged 12:18 months in a designated special provision
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and behaviour management skills
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
* Passion for supporting children with complex needs
* Commitment to inclusive and differentiated teaching practices
* Availability Monday:Friday, 8:30 AM : 3:30 PM
