Regional Sales Manager – SW & SE (X2 Roles)
Consumer Durables
Up to £45,000 + Company Car + Attractive Commission
We are currently partnered with a market-leading branded Consumer Durables business, turning over in excess of £350M and achieving circa 30% year-on-year growth in what remains a highly challenging market.
Due to this continued growth, they are now looking to hire two Regional Sales Managers to strengthen their presence across Southern independent accounts. This role will be approximately 75% account management, with a focus on nurturing and growing existing relationships, alongside a portion of new business development to expand the portfolio.
This is a highly consultative position, suited to someone who understands how to identify customer needs and work in partnership with them, rather than a purely cold-calling sales role.
These roles will cover the South East and South West, with flexibility depending on candidate location. Strong diary management and the ability to effectively plan customer visits across a geographical territory are essential.
Role Responsibilities:
* Grow and retain your existing customer base and drive sales across your territory, working closely with independent accounts
* Maintain the right balance between prospecting and managing existing stockists to generate new customer wins
* Strengthen existing relationships while continuing to develop your network by identifying new business opportunities
* Effectively plan and manage your working day to ensure coverage at key trading times
* Demonstrate a passion for the industry, keeping up to date with market trends and developments
Experience & Key Attributes:
* Must live within the territory and hold a full UK driving licence (SE OR SW)
* Demonstrate excellent customer service, sales, and interpersonal skills to build first class relationships
* Ambitious, with a strong drive to progress your career within the business
* Commercially aware, with a proven ability to identify and capitalise on opportunities, negotiate deals, and close transactions
* Previous experience in a Regional or Field Sales role is essential
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence and build rapport
* Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage a diary, and meet targets
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with adaptability to change
* Proactive problem solver, capable of identifying challenges and implementing effective solutions to drive sales growth
* Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams
