Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting experienced social workers in the Management Team to support Children’s Services in delivering a high-quality Social Care Service to children and their families, with a specific focus on Public Law Outline and Public Law Proceedings. The role involves taking a lead in supporting and developing excellent social work practice related to statutory processes, with caseload management responsibility.
As a Court Consultant, you will:
1. Manage and track care and discharge proceedings cases originating in Bradford Council, ensuring all parties understand their roles and meet court deadlines.
2. Work with stakeholders to improve court-directed work standards and support operational changes.
3. Use leadership techniques to support staff and managers, improve practice, and interpret legislation.
4. Supervise less experienced workers on PLO and care proceedings cases.
5. Provide guidance to Social Workers, Practice Supervisors, and Team Managers, including quality assurance and preparation for court.
6. Monitor and analyze team performance data to improve practice and outcomes.
7. Represent the local authority at regional meetings with stakeholders, HMCTS, and CAFCASS.
8. Evaluate and improve court proceedings processes, quality assure case records, and lead staff training.
9. Develop case tracking to reduce delays and report on performance issues.
10. Lead in implementing Signs of Safety within Bradford and support social workers in court work.
11. Chair meetings and supervise project-specific social work activities.
As a Social Worker within the Assessment Team, you are required to:
1. Hold a Social Work England registration.
2. Be eligible to work in the UK and hold a full UK license.
3. Possess a Social Work qualification, degree, or equivalent.
4. Have at least 2 years’ experience in children’s services.
5. Meet other eligibility requirements such as payroll, DBS, and compliance services.
