Salary & Benefits
* Competitive salary circa £45,000–£55,000, dependent on experience
* Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm working hours

About you
* Valid NEBOSH Certification or equivalent Occupational Safety qualification
* Proven experience in safety supervision or management within a similar industry
* Skilled in developing, implementing, and maintaining HSE policies
* Excellent leadership and people management skills
* Strong communication and organisational capabilities
* Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel, and able to deliver effective training programs
* Ability to prioritise tasks effectively and meet deadlines
* A proactive approach to continuous safety improvement
What you’ll do
* Develop and implement the organisation’s health and safety strategy to ensure legal compliance and operational excellence
* Manage, mentor, and support the safety team across multiple sites
* Conduct risk assessments, site audits, and incident investigations to identify areas for improvement
* Create, review, and update policies, procedures, and safe systems of work
* Promote a positive safety culture through leadership engagement, training initiatives, and employee involvement
* Work closely with internal teams, external regulators, and contractors to uphold safety standards and expectations
