Bids & Proposals Executive – 6 month FTC, London

A look into the role
As a Bids & Proposals Executive within our Financial Services team, you will:
1. Lead on the administration of knowledge hub activity, preparing hand-out material when necessary, carrying out briefs and managing external agencies when required
2. Provide administrative support around targeting activities, including but not limited to, campaigns, proposals, research, arranging meetings and database maintenance
3. Stay up to date in the key strategic themes and revenue opportunities for the Financial Services Group at any given time
4. Support the implementation of the overall business development strategy for Grant Thornton
5. Arrange competitor monitoring – review of competitor websites and local press to
enable local team to keep abreast of their event and campaign activity
6. Liaise with regional colleagues regarding event details and provide updates on progress
Knowing you’re right for us
Joining us as a Bids & Proposals Executive, the minimum criteria you’ll need experience working in a Bids role, along with demonstrable stakeholder engagement skills. It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don’t worry if you don’t tick every box, we’ll help you develop along the way.
7. You’ll ideally have experience of the professional services sector although this is not essential
8. Experience of working in financial services would be beneficial
9. Stakeholder management skills
10. Understanding of broader marketing and business development practices
