About the Role As an SEN Teacher, you will plan and deliver tailored lessons, supporting pupils academically, socially, and emotionally. Working alongside a team of specialist staff, you will help pupils develop confidence, independence, and resilience. Pupils may have: Autism or other neurodivergent profiles Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs ADHD and associated behavioural challenges Communication and interaction difficulties Gaps in learning due to disrupted education Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons for pupils with SEND Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies Encourage independence, engagement, and self-confidence Build strong relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to meet pupils' needs Track pupil progress and contribute to Individual Education Plans (IEPs) Who We're Looking For We welcome applications from teachers who: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Have experience supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH, or complex needs Are calm, patient, and resilient Communicate effectively and work well within a team Are passionate about making a difference for vulnerable learners Experience in specialist or therapeutic education settings is highly desirable but not essential.
