Our client, an innovative UK leading supplier and distributor, is looking for an energetic Sales Support Assistant to join their dynamic team. This is a full-time permanent office based opportunity working Monday-Friday 8.30am 5.00pm, £27k -£30k doe, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and benefits. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Be the first line of contact for customers, providing outstanding customer service via phone and email. Monitor and manage the sales order inbox responding to all orders and enquiries. Process orders received each day, in a paperless system, across all departments. Order Checking. Liaise with the transport team to ensure timely deliveries and confirm these to customers with their order acknowledgements. Respond to customer complaints and queries in a professional and timely manner. Log any customer complaints, delivery or sales order errors. Involvement in weekly/monthly reporting/analysis to drive improvements. Monitor and manage customer bookings, provide effective communication to the customer and relevant Account Manager on the progress of these bookings. Any other administrative duties to assist in the smooth running of the day-to-day operation of the business. Responsible for keeping up to date with any new products, policies and developing capabilities in line with Company training plans. Experience Required In a customer service role is essential and ideally in a similar office-based role Data entry using IT systems with high degree of speed and accuracy Working as part of a team and under own initiative MS Office including Word, Excel PowerPoint, and Outlook essential Using a sales order processing system
