Hours: 24.50 Hours - Part Time; 36.75 Hours - Full Time
Initial part time with opportunity for full time available. Working pattern: Monday to Sunday (covering both day and night shifts) - 12.25 hour shift patterns. Please note, night shifts only is not possible.
Pay
£13.58 Weekday / £14.82 Weekend Day
£12.77 Sleep Week / £13.64 Sleep Weekend
£14.60 Wake Week / £16.28 Wake Weekend

We are supporting a gentleman in his 70s who sustained a severe brain injury and requires 24-hour 2:1 support. He has a wheelchair, uses hoists for transfers, and communicates non-verbally via a PEG. He has a private adapted property in Cwmbran and enjoys social activities, including hydrotherapy. The support worker will help develop his goals, encourage engagement with rehabilitation opportunities, and assist with day-to-day activities.
We are committed to building a strong and dedicated team of individuals who are passionate about making a difference. This role is subject to an Enhanced level DBS check. Full induction and training will be provided.
Essential Information
To join as a Support Worker you will need to:
* Be able to drive and have use of a car
* Drive the family vehicle
* Have experience of supporting a person with an acquired brain injury
* Enjoy working as part of a multidisciplinary team
