Pay: £462.50-475 per week

Vision for Education is looking for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming specialist school in Shrewsbury. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in a full-time or part-time, long-term role within a supportive and inclusive setting.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide tailored support to pupils with special educational needs, helping them build confidence, independence, and key life skills. You’ll work closely with teachers to support learning both one-to-one and in small groups.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support teachers in delivering engaging and differentiated learning activities
2. Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
3. Provide 1:1 and small-group support to meet pupils’ individual needs
4. Commit to a full-time or part-time role starting in May 2026

What We’re Looking For
9. Strong communication and behaviour management skills
10. Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND
11. A caring, flexible, and proactive approach
12. References and an enhanced DBS check will be required

13. Excellent daily rates paid using the PAYE system. Daily rate is subject to your scale rate, experience in role and qualifications which will be discussed at the point of registration.
