Resourcing Business Partner at Quorn Foods
Take the lead in driving electrical safety and compliance at one of our key manufacturing sites. This is your opportunity to own all electrical engineering work across our Billingham site, influence major projects, and deliver improvements that keep our operations running at their best.
What You'll Be Responsible For
You'll take full ownership of electrical engineering at our Belasis site, ensuring all installations meet statutory requirements and comply with relevant regulations. This includes managing critical electrical supplies to safeguard production, defining and overseeing electrical aspects of major projects, and leading investigations into electrical safety issues. You'll also maintain accurate documentation, produce technical packages, and identify opportunities for energy reduction across the site.
Alongside your technical responsibilities, you'll play a key role in supporting and mentoring electrical technicians, collaborating with engineers and senior managers, and contributing to multi-disciplinary teams. Your expertise will help shape maintenance procedures, improve plant performance, and drive continuous improvement in safety and efficiency.
What Experience You'll Need To Have
* Proven background as a site electrical engineer or similar role, with responsibility for HV and LV systems
* Excellent knowledge of electrical safety regulations and statutory compliance requirements
* Ability to manage contractors and lead projects from design through to completion, along with being skilled in producing technical documentation and managing compliance records
* Commercial awareness and the ability to identify cost-saving and energy efficiency opportunities
* Excellent communication skills to collaborate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
* A proactive approach to personal development and staying up to date with industry standards
