An established and independent electrical wholesaler with over 35 years of experience is seeking an Accounts Administrator to join its friendly team based in Tamworth. The business is well known for providing excellent customer service, competitive prices, and expert advice to clients across the local area and beyond.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to work part-time hours, with flexibility available to fit around school times. The role would suit an experienced accounts professional seeking a new challenge. The successful candidate will play a key part in supporting financial operations, using their Sage knowledge, organisational skills, and attention to detail to keep everything running smoothly.
What we need from you as an Accounts Administrator:
You will need experience in administration, credit control, and handling both sales and purchase ledgers
Confident using computerised systems Sage and Microsoft Office are second nature to you (with at least a years experience)
You are naturally organised and great at keeping on top of a busy workload
Youve got excellent communication skills both written and spoken and youre happy chatting on the phone
You take pride in accuracy and have a real eye for detail when it comes to data entry
You like to take the initiative, solve problems, and get things done without needing to be chased
You bring enthusiasm, energy, and a positive can-do attitude to everything you do
What the role involves:
Manage day-to-day office administration, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all administrative processes
Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, maintaining up-to-date records
Handle clerical duties such as organising documents
Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when interacting with clients
Bookkeeping and bank reconciliation
The preparation of reports and presentations utilising Sage as required
Support financial operations using for invoicing and expense tracking
Credit control, purchase ledger, and sales ledger
Collaborate with colleagues to streamline processes, address queries, and improve organisational workflows
To communicate and liaise with accounts managers

Salary: £28,000 £30,000plus bonus (up to 5% of salary) pro rata per year.
Hours: Working Monday to Friday 25-30 hours per week flexible on start finish times, but would prefer the same set hours each week.
