Our client is a well-respected defendant firm who are currently recruiting for a Defendant Motor Injury Supervisor to join their Manchester or Birmingham offices.
Your new role
1. Oversee and mentor a team of litigators handling motor injury claims.
2. Provide technical guidance and ensurepliance with best practices and client service standards.
3. Monitor team performance and support professional development.
4. Manage a personal caseload of litigated motor injury claims, includingplex and high-value cases.
5. Draft pleadings, witness statements, and other legal documentation.
6. Conduct negotiations and attend hearings where required.
7. Maintain strong relationships with insurer clients and other stakeholders.
8. Provide clear, strategic advice and timely updates on case progress.
9. Ensure cases are progressed efficiently and in line with client expectations.
10. Contribute to process improvements and implementation of best practices.
What you'll need to succeed
11. Qualified Solicitor (NQ+)
12. Strong background in defendant motor injury litigation, including supervisory responsibilities.
13. Excellent knowledge of civil procedure and litigation processes.
14. Minimum of 2 years MOJ/OIC portal experience (including non-qualified experience)
15. Proven ability to manage a team and mentor junior colleagues.
16. Strong organisational andmunication skills.
