Job Overview
We are interested in welcoming new staff into our busy and dynamic mental health team. We work across Bradford in four local teams ensuring staff offers positive mental health recovery support and housing related support in a personalised way.
The successful candidate will engage with service users and build trusting therapeutic relationships. The role involves visiting service users in their homes or other settings, offering practical support to enable them to live independently while providing emotional support in accordance with their individual support plans.
Responsibilities
* Offer practical support such as completing housing benefit forms, facilitating visits to supermarkets, setting up bank accounts, and arranging utility bill payments.
* Provide emotional support and build trusting therapeutic relationships with service users.
* Work flexibly around hours and adapt to diverse skill sets within a large team.
Qualifications & Skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills; supportive, proactive, responsible, good at motivating people, and a good listener.
* Experience in the care and support sector is preferred.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Car driving license beneficial.
* Not required to deliver personal care.
