**Business Development Manager – Southwest – Leading Foodservice Company**
We are currently recruiting for a market leading foodservice due to huge growth across the UK. The company are known for providing fresh, quality ingredients and having a real passion for food. They serve a huge range of customers from Michelin-starred restaurants to bustling hotel kitchens, bars, catering services, iconic stadium venues and higher education. We are looking for people who have a Chef background and a passion for food.
Role:
You will be responsible for -
Building and maintaining strong relationships with your customer portfolio
Driving basket growth and uncovering new sales opportunities
Carrying out structured depot and supplier visits to keep customers engaged with our range
Tracking and analysing sales performance to maximise results
Staying informed on food trends, competitors, and market developments
Working closely with Marketing, NPD, Technical, and Operations teams
Representing the company at events, trade shows, and networking opportunities as a brand ambassador
Candidate:
The ideal candidate will -
Strong relationship-building and communication skills
Proven commercial or sales experience (foodservice or hospitality preferred)
A proactive, self-motivated approach to achieving targets
Confidence in analysing data and identifying opportunities
Passion for food, people, and delivering exceptional service
Full, Clean UK driving licence.
Package:
Basic Salary: Negotiable based on level of experience (around £50k)
