Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our Bank team. This role is essential in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in our Care Home. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for helping others, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible care tailored to their individual needs.
Duties
* Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
* Support clients in maintaining their independence while ensuring their safety and well-being.
* Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide updates on care plans and any changes in client conditions.
* Document and maintain accurate records of client progress and care provided.
* Follow care plans as directed, adapting to the changing needs of clients as necessary.
* Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in home care practices.
Skills
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to converse in English clearly and compassionately.
* Proficiency in IT skills for documentation purposes and communication with team members.
* Previous experience in home care or a similar environment is essential; a willingness to learn is key.
* Understanding of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately.
* Empathy, patience, and a strong desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others are crucial attributes for this role.
