CMS is actively recruiting EMTs to join our expanding team supporting event work across the United Kingdom.
Ideal candidates must be drivers with their own vehicle, willing to travel, flexible, and available to work weekends due to the nature of our contracts nationwide.
Main duties of the job
Provide patient care, effective treatment, and safe transportation while maintaining high clinical and personal standards in hospital and pre-hospital settings.
Respond to clinical needs of patients promptly and efficiently as directed by senior clinicians, following clinical guidelines and protocols.
Assist senior clinicians by providing effective clinical care, conducting diagnostic procedures, and supporting professional decision-making.
Drive approved ambulance vehicles under normal and emergency conditions, adhering to road traffic laws and safety standards, paying special attention to vehicle safety, occupants, and other road users.
Maintain monitoring and treatment until the patient is discharged or transferred, within your scope of practice and competency.
Ensure safe transfer of patients using appropriate equipment and manual handling techniques, following health and safety protocols.
Complete all relevant documentation accurately and legibly in a timely manner.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Essential qualifications include IHCD, AAP, or FREC 5 qualifications.
* Recognized blue light qualification, e.g., IHCD/Level 3 Emergency Response Ambulance Driving.
* Full UK clean driving license with at least 2 years' experience.

This role is subject to a DBS check due to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975, requiring disclosure of criminal convictions.
