Purovets are working with a first-opinion small animal practice based in the heart of Bedfordshire who are looking to broaden their skills and welcome in a new member to the Vet team. They are a young dynamic team offering a range of services including microchipping, nurse clinics, neutering and more! As part of this team, you will be providing high standard care, which is why they have such a loyal client base. This is a 50:50 consulting and surgery role. They are looking for a full-time vet to join the team, however, they are open to discussing different shift patterns and applicants looking for around 30 hours a week are also encouraged to apply. There is a share in the Saturday morning rota; currently, 1 in 3. They only open from 8.30am to 12pm on Saturdays along with no Sundays, Bank Holidays, and no OOHs so there is plenty of time to enjoy the weekend and achieve that important work-life balance! They have recently invested in dental x-ray and a new dental suite, alongside the usual gadgets such as digital x-ray, ultrasound, tonopen, multiparameter monitoring equipment, blood haematology and biochemistry, bair huggers and blood pressure machines. They are in the process of building their clinical team but have the potential and facilities to become a 3 full-time vet practice. You will work side-by-side with a dynamic duo consisting of the new practice director and senior vet, who have worked closely together for years with an excellent track record of success and driving practices forward. They are keen to speak to driven and proactive vets who have their own ideas and want to see them implemented in the right environment. They also have a motivated and experienced support team consisting of 2 RVNs, 1 SVN, 2 VCAs, a full reception team and a practice manager, who provide high level of support and are confident with schedule 3 procedures and consulting. There is a truly remarkable financial package on offer with this opportunity; salary is up to £75,000 DOE and there is a welcome bonus of up to £5,000 and a relocation allowance of up to £8,000. On top of this, they offer a bespoke bonus scheme that will pay out 20% of your annual salary after six months and an extra 10% after twelve months, which completes a financial package the likes of which you won’t find anywhere else!
