The Role
The Year 2 Teacher will plan and teach a sequenced curriculum for Year 2, assess and track pupil progress, and liaise with parents to celebrate achievement. The Year 2 Teacher will design lessons that meet the needs of diverse learners and will work with TAs to deliver targeted support. The appointed Year 2 Teacher will be expected to take up post in January 2026, contributing to transition and curriculum planning from January 2026. The Year 2 Teacher will also lead small-group interventions and support whole-school initiatives across the Surrey setting.

Person specification for the Year 2 Teacher
• QTS/PGCE and proven Year 2 experience as a Year 2 Teacher.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to start January 2026.
