Our expanding Cheltenham team is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead the successful delivery of our Capital (Planned Works / Refurbishment) contracts.

The Role
As Contracts Manager, you will lead the operational delivery of multiple capital refurbishment and planned works contracts across Cheltenham.
You will:
* Take ownership of projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards
* Lead, motivate, and develop direct labour teams, including apprentices
* Manage recruitment, onboarding, and induction
* Champion Health & Safety compliance and best practice
* Coordinate resources including subcontractors, plant, and materials
* Work collaboratively with commercial and operational teams
* Monitor site reporting, track performance, and implement corrective actions
* Manage your own workload effectively to maintain productivity and compliance
About You
* Proven experience delivering planned works/refurbishment contracts
* Strong Health & Safety leadership, with robust system controls
* Excellent planning, organisation, and cost/risk management skills
* Experience managing direct labour teams and developing high-performing staff
* Customer-focused with a commitment to service excellence
* SMSTS qualification
* Trade background (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent considered)
* Experience in FRA works and/or high-volume kitchen & bathroom installations desirable
