Overview
Join a thriving, global company with a strong HSE culture. As the HSE Manager, you will work closely with the department head and lead initiatives to drive continuous improvement across the site, playing a key role in the company’s HSE strategy.
The Role
The successful candidate will:
* Develop, implement, and maintain HSE systems and policies.
* Deliver in-house HSE training programs.
* Lead safety audits, incident reporting, and risk assessments.
* Utilize data insights to improve site safety performance.
* Ensure compliance with regulations such as COSHH, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001.
* Engage with stakeholders including HSE authorities, Environment Agency, and Fire Service.
* Chair and participate in internal HSE meetings and forums.
* Contribute HSE expertise to site expansion, equipment layout, and project planning.
* Assist with occupational health initiatives and claims investigations.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have:
* A NEBOSH certificate or diploma.
* Membership of Tech IOSH.
* Experience in HSE within food manufacturing.
* Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
* Fire safety knowledge and familiarity with COSHH, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards.
