Level 3 Teaching Assistant – KS2 Winchester
Start Date: January 2026
Contract: Long-term with the potential to become permanent
Salary: £13.90 – £15 per hour (Dependent on experience)
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Location: Winchester
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Teaching assistant with a level 3 qualification to work in an Ofsted rated “Good” school with a fantastic reputation for inclusion. It would be an advantage if you had experience with SATS and interventions for SPAG, Maths, Reading and Writing.
You will be supporting throughout KS2 but often with a focus on Year 6 and providing booster support for SATs revision and practice.
This is a rewarding role where patience, empathy, and strong communication skills will make a real difference to children throughout KS2.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Supporting SATs interventions for Year 6 students
* Providing 1:1 or small group support where required.
* Providing booster support sessions for those who have gaps in learning
* Assisting teaching staff with adapting learning resources to suit individual needs.
* Encouraging students to build independence, confidence, and resilience.
* Supporting the smooth running of the classroom and fostering a positive learning environment.
