About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Asset Systems and Data Manager to lead the strategic management, integrity, and optimisation of asset data systems within the Social Investment and Property team. This role will support data-driven investment decisions across the Council’s property portfolio, improve data governance and systems architecture, and drive future strategies for asset-related programmes.
You’ll act as the central point of contact for asset system users, providing training, support, and insight to ensure consistency, compliance, and excellence in data use.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and enhance asset systems ensuring data accuracy, security, and governance.

Analyse complex asset data to drive investment decisions and optimise resource allocation.

Lead development and enhancement of IT systems used in asset management.
*
Implement data governance frameworks and ensure GDPR compliance.
*
Provide dashboards and reports for key stakeholders.
*
Support cross-departmental collaboration through training and systems integration.
About You:
*
Significant experience in asset systems and property data within a housing or local authority environment.
*
Excellent skills in data analysis, reporting and system configuration (e.g., SQL, Excel, Power BI).
*
Confident in leading systems development and engaging stakeholders at all levels.
*
Demonstrable experience in data governance, data security, and data quality control.
*
Strong communicator and trainer with the ability to translate complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
*
Experience with asset management tools such as Keystone, TechForge, or similar systems is desirable.
