We're looking for enthusiastic and committed Trainee Cover Supervisors to join our team and work in Swindon's welcoming secondary schools - supportive environments with a reputation for good behaviour and positive staff teams, where you can truly make a difference.
As a Trainee Cover Supervisor, you will:
* Supervise classes in the absence of the teacher, keeping students focused and on task
* Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans while maintaining a positive learning environment
* Build rapport with students and support their learning journey
* Gain invaluable classroom experience as a stepping stone into teaching or education roles
What you'll need:
* Minimum of A Levels (a degree is desirable)
* Previous experience working with young people is helpful but not essential - full training is provided
* Confidence, strong communication skills, and the ability to engage with students
* A calm, positive, and professional approach to classroom management
What we offer:
* Competitive pay: from £120 per day (up to £140 for experienced Cover Supervisors)
* Flexible roles: full-time and part-time options from September 2025 onwards
* Standard school hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, term time only
* Full vetting process and an enhanced child workforce DBS (applied for on your behalf)
