About The Role
Are you an experienced QA Engineer looking for an opportunity with a progressive, exciting, market-leading company? We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Testing team on a fixed-term contract until the end of June 2026. As a QA Engineer, you would be responsible for quality assurance and enhancement within the development lifecycle through automated and manual testing procedures to ensure the software is fit for purpose. The role is hybrid, with a mix of office-based and remote working.
Key Responsibilities Include
* Conduct various types of testing, including functional and non-functional
* Implement automation and non-functional testing strategies with the Lead QA Engineer
* Build and maintain automated test suites supporting CI/CD
* Experience with Selenium (Java) and Cypress (JavaScript) frameworks
* Review QA Engineer PRs
* Promote the shift-left testing approach by integrating quality criteria early in development
* Train and coach the scrum team and junior testers on agile testing and shared quality responsibility
* Triaging issues, reproducing defects, documenting investigations, and testing fixes
* Collaborate with developers to provide testing insights on high-risk areas

The ideal QA Engineer will have:
* Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C#, JavaScript
* Experience with various testing types, including functional and non-functional
* Automation testing experience with Selenium/Java and Cypress/JavaScript
* Experience working in Agile environments
* Full SDLC and testing lifecycle exposure
* Strong analytical and documentation skills
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
* Attention to detail and a passion for continuous learning
Desirable qualifications include:
* ISTQB Agile Tester and Foundation certifications
* STEM degree or background
