Our Nuclear & Infrastructure division has extensive experience in the specialist, highly regulated nuclear, transport (road and rail), process industries and power and energy sectors. Providing award winning design teams, utilising state-of-the-art design software and Tekla detailing facilities to offer customers value engineering. Vacancy Details
In the Site supervisor position you will play a vital role in ensuring that all operations are conducted in line with company procedures, industry best practices, and statutory legislation.
Other Responsibilities Will Include But Are Not Limited To
* Ensure full compliance with Severfield's operating procedures, quality assurance standards, and statutory safety legislation.
* Monitor site progress and take proactive steps to meet deadlines and maintain efficiency.
* Manage labour levels and engineering resources to ensure optimal productivity.
* Drive continuous improvement on site with a strong focus on safety and quality.
* Support site management in overseeing specialist subcontractors.
* Keep site management informed of daily progress and any emerging issues.
Key Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as a Team Leader / Supervisor (or higher) in steel manufacturing / production.
* Strong knowledge of day-to-day operations in a steel fabrication environment.
* Relevant trade / operational qualifications and certifications.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
* Safety-driven mindset with the ability to enforce compliance.
* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
