Job Title: Construction Supervisor - Pipeline
Location: Qatar
Overview
A leading oil and gas company is seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to oversee pipeline and associated mechanical works for brownfield, stations, refinery, and cross-country pipelines in onshore projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and control site construction/installation of pipelines, mechanical, and piping works.
* Coordinate pre-commissioning and support commissioning of facilities.
* Manage inspection and completion documentation including Punch Lists, Construction Completion Certificates (CCC), and Mechanical Completion Certificates (MCC).
* Inspect construction works and materials in line with quality plans and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
* Supervise EPIC contractors and ensure compliance with project schedules and standards.
* Review design drawings, method statements, material requisitions, and construction documentation.
* Supervise and coordinate contractor mobilization and daily work activities.
* Monitor contractor compliance with Permit to Work systems, safety policies, and quality requirements.
* Participate in as-built documentation and project close-out activities.
* Liaise with QC and HSE teams to resolve technical and safety issues.
* Coordinate with discipline supervisors and participate in multi-discipline project meetings.
* Review project schedules, identify potential slippages, and optimize contractor resources.
* Update daily and weekly progress reports, verify contractor progress statements, and attend project meetings.
Qualifications & Experience
* Higher National Certificate (HNC), Diploma, or B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline.
* Minimum 10 years of experience in pipeline and mechanical construction for oil & gas projects.
* Knowledge of national and international codes, standards, and specifications.
* Experience in brownfield and new construction projects, including testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning.
* Strong supervisory, planning, coordination, and communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively in diverse, multi-discipline project environments.
