Forklift Truck Operator

Hours: Rotational shift basis of 6am to 2pm, and 2pm to 10pm, Monday to Friday; 37.5-hour week
Pay: £15.29 per hour plus a discretionary bonus of 5.5%
Our client is an innovative growing company within the Glass Industry. They have won numerous awards including “The Queens Award for Export”. As an ever-expanding company, they are always looking for enthusiastic people to join the team. This position has become available due to a recent increase in capacity to meet growing demand.
The Role
This is an opportunity to join a rapidly expanding manufacturing business within the insulated glass industry.
A Forklift Truck Operator is required in their production plant.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Minimum 1 year’s recent experience.
2. Confident in all aspects of general warehouse duties.
3. Experience of loading vehicles.
4. Experience of Bar-Coding Systems (an advantage but training will be given).
5. Valid Counterbalance and/or Reach or 4-way FLT licence.

Qualifications:

Benefits
Hourly pay will be £15.29 per hour based on a 37.5-hour week. A discretionary bonus of 5.5% (£1,639.85).

The discretionary profit-related bonus scheme is based on both personal and company performance as a percentage of salary paid in two instalments throughout the year.
Holiday entitlement is 25 days per year (of which some are to be used for Christmas shutdown), plus statutory Bank Holidays.
