The reality of the role:
This is a Customer Services Project Manager role in a manufacturing environment.
You’ll take projects from initial client brief through production, delivery and invoicing. You’ll be responsible for keeping projects commercially and operationally on track.
There is a dedicated Estimating team who handle the bulk of the pricing. You’ll still need to understand costs, sanity check figures, manage changes and protect margin as projects evolve. You’re not sat estimating all day, but commercial awareness matters.
You’ll work closely with sales, design, planning, production, suppliers, warehouse and finance. When things change, you coordinate it. When issues come up, you sort them.
This is hands on project management. Not a PMO role. Not admin for the sake of it.
