About the Role
Due to a promotion within the team, we are now seeking an Electrical Qualified Supervisor to join our Responsive Repairs workstream; now in its thirteenth year providing a stable and profitable contract, delivering excellent service and support through our local teams, who understand the importance of working together for the local community.
We are searching for a skilled Electrical Qualified Supervisor to help benefit the lives of their local community, overseeing 10 electricians within the team. While working in accordance with the relevant Safety Regulations and departmental procedures, you will carry out duties such as ensuring jobs are coded accurately, providing progress reports, managing RAILs, and ensuring subcontractors submit required documentation to control all aspects of cost, budget, and value analysis of the contract.
This is a hybrid role, involving a mix of field-based and office work. You’ll be onsite for inspections, overseeing electricians, and addressing general client queries across locations such as Bexley, Chatham, Croydon, and Tonbridge. You will also have office days at the Tonbridge branch.
Role Criteria:
* Experience with installing, servicing, and maintaining electrical systems and appliances according to the current Edition of The IET Wiring Regulations.
* Knowledge to install, repair, inspect, and test electrical installations, and the ability to correctly fill out Electrical Certificates or Electrical Condition Reports.
* Experience supervising a team of electricians and apprentices, ensuring work is carried out safely and promptly.
* City and Guilds 2360/2365 NVQ Level 3 Parts 1 and 2
* City and Guilds 2357, including AM2
* City and Guilds 2392 – Fundamental Certification, Inspection, and Testing
* City and Guilds 2394 – Initial Verification and Certification of Electrical Installations
* City and Guilds 2395 – Periodic Inspection, Testing, and Certification of Electrical Installations
* City and Guilds 18th Edition
