As Clinical Home Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
Managing the day-to-day running of the service and coordinating its operations
Training, supervising, appraising, line managing and retaining all staff for the service
Having oversight of the nursing and support worker rotas
Complying with the mental health Act 1983, mental capacity Act 2005 and associated deprivation of liberty safeguards
Maintaining the provisions of the health and safety at work and the COSHH regulations and to ensure that all staff adhere to the policies and procedures accordingly
Ensuring CQC requirements are upheld at all times and fully subscribe to the company’s governance programme
Monitoring the day-to-day care of all service users in the service
Effectively coordinating service users’ reviews
Ensuring medication is administered as prescribed and that it is reviewed at appropriate intervals by medical staff
Out of hours on call (rotational basis)
We’re looking for a Clinical Home Manager with:
Previous experience as a CQC registered service manager
Ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care using evidence-based approaches
Ability to supervise, teach and mentor qualified and unqualified staff
Knowledge of risk assessment and risk management
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent people management skills, including supervision, appraisal, and conflict resolution
Knowledge of Care Quality Commission (QCC) guidelines
Knowledge of the London commissioning landscape would be ideal
