Digital Verification Engineer - Bishop's Stortford
I am looking for a Digital Verification Engineer to join a US company that has opened a UK design centre near Cambridge. You will join a small but growing UK team as they embark on their next stage of growth and be influential in company projects and product development.
Duties and responsibilities
* Support with the management of the digital and (Analog/Mixed-Signal verification environment across design projects)
* Define and enforce verification methodologies, standards, and guidelines for assigned projects
* Review internal and customer specifications and develop comprehensive verification plans, test plans, and environments to ensure full compliance
* Review and analyse RTL code to debug issues, gain design understanding, and propose effective solutions
* Work closely with digital and analog design teams to identify, debug, and resolve RTL and gate-level simulation issues
* Develop assertion-based, constrained-random verification environments
* Create and maintain testcase plans, coverage plans, and verification plans
* Implement and analyse functional and code coverage to ensure verification completeness
Minimum requirements
* MEng degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or a closely related field
* Minimum of 4 years of relevant industry experience
* Special Requirements
* Universal Verification Methodology
* TCL and Bash scripting
* Formal verification techniques
* SystemVerilog
Salary and benefits
* £50,000 – £60,000 per annum base salary, dependent on experience and skill set
* Bonus and/or equity participation available
