We are seeking an experienced Site/Project Manager (contract or permanent) with a strong mechanical engineering bias to oversee site operations for a major infrastructure build. The successful candidate will join an active site team in various locations around the UK, delivering projects running for up to a year, for various clients including OEMS. This is a site-based role, requiring hands-on leadership, coordination of multidisciplinary teams, and close collaboration with client representatives and subcontractors. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily site operations and ensure project milestones are met Coordinate mechanical and electrical works, ensuring integration across disciplines Manage subcontractors, site personnel, and rotating teams Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and site protocols Liaise with client-side engineers and OEM representatives Monitor progress, report issues, and implement corrective actions Maintain site documentation and contribute to project reporting Candidate Profile Proven experience as a Site Manager or Project Manager on large-scale industrial or infrastructure projects Strong mechanical engineering background; familiarity with electrical systems is a plus Excellent leadership and communication skills Ability to manage rotating teams and maintain continuity across shifts Comfortable working in a remote site environment with extended hours Experience working with international clients or OEMs preferred Qualifications Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline SMSTS or equivalent site safety certification CSCS card (Black or White) is desirable First Aid and other relevant site qualifications is advantageous If this role is not suitable, but you know someone who may be interested, please feel free to recommend them as we offer a referral award scheme
