An opportunity has arisen for a full-time permanent Geographical Lead Infection Prevention & Control Nurse within NHS Lothian. This role supports NHS Lothian’s care homes within the Board area.
The post holder will provide clinical expertise and work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver an infection prevention & control service aimed at supporting patient safety through reducing healthcare-associated infections.
The post holder will also provide line management for infection control nurses and may deputise for the Lead Nurse.
Applicants should be registered nurses with postgraduate qualifications in Infection Prevention & Control, and have significant experience in infection control with evidence demonstrating expertise in this field.
