Role: Field Service Engineer (Electrical Bias - Bakery Equipment) Location: Midlands Based - UK & Ireland Coverage (with travel to Netherlands & Italy for training and customer visits) Shifts: Days - 08:00 to 16:30 Salary: Competitive Overtime Excellent Benefits Additional Hours If Required We are looking for a motivated Field Service Engineer to join a leading manufacturer and service provider of bakery production equipment. Reporting directly to the Service Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring customer machinery and production lines are maintained, serviced, and running efficiently. You will be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance across a wide range of bakery machinery. With full training on Siemens PLC systems and strong development opportunities, this company offers excellent career progression within a supportive and stable team environment. Role Description: * Providing both Reactive & Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) * Attending machine breakdowns and performing fault finding * Working with bakery machinery - slicers, rollers, mixers, ovens, moulder lines, and conveyors * PLC fault finding (Siemens S7 / TIA Portal - full training provided) * Working with sensors, drives, relays, and inverters * Adhering to all on-site Health & Safety procedures * Travelling to customer sites in the UK and Europe as required Skills and Qualifications: * Previous Field Service or Maintenance Engineering experience * 18th Edition or equivalent electrical qualification desirable * Experience within the food or bakery industry advantageous * Strong electrical fault-finding and mechanical skills * PLC knowledge beneficial (training provided) * Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics desirable * Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel In return for your commitment, our client offers a stable and rewarding career with excellent training and progression opportunities.
