We are seeking a dedicated and friendly night Porter to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a welcoming and clean environment for our guests. This position requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff. A background in hospitality or hotel experience is preferred, as the Porter will interact with various departments to enhance guest satisfaction.
Duties
* Greet and assist guests upon arrival, providing a warm welcome to ensure a positive first impression.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lobby, entrances, and common areas.
* Assist with luggage handling for guests during check-in and check-out processes.
* Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance guest experience.
* Manage multi-line phone systems efficiently, addressing guest inquiries promptly.
* Support front desk operations during peak times, assisting with night audits as needed.
* Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure all areas are well-maintained and operational.
* Uphold high standards of guest relations by addressing any concerns or requests in a timely manner.
Skills
* Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
* Experience in hospitality or hotels is highly desirable.
* Proficiency in phone etiquette and managing multi-line phone systems effectively.
* Knowledge of guest services protocols within resort or hotel environments.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented atmosphere while maintaining professionalism at all times.
* Previous experience in front desk operations or night audit roles is an advantage

Pay: £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 34 per week
