Job Title: Business Analyst 12 Month FTC
Location: Bromsgrove
Salary: £40,000 - £48,000
Hours: Monday to Friday - 2 days on site per week
About the Role:
Outsource UK is recruiting a Business Analyst to join a dynamic Business Change team. This role represents the voice of the customer and the business, helping to deliver impactful change initiatives. The successful candidate will analyse business processes, engage with stakeholders at all levels, and contribute to effective solutions that drive the business forward.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and implement solutions encompassing user experience, operational, and solution design.
2. Communicate with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into business outcomes and requirements.
3. Conduct research to understand current business operations and identify ways to improve efficiency.
4. Work with digital transformation teams to convert business requirements into technical requirements or user stories for development sprints.
5. Organise and facilitate workshops, training sessions, and stakeholder meetings.
6. Explore different solutions, assess their risks, benefits, and impacts, and recommend appropriate actions.
7. Persuade stakeholders of the benefits of new technology or strategies.
8. Document and propose solutions to sponsors or steering groups for review and sign-off.
9. Contribute to training and support for people affected by change initiatives.
10. Allocate resources and maintain cost efficiency.
11. Perform user acceptance testing as required.
12. Update, implement, and maintain procedures.
13. Manage competing priorities and monitor deliverables to ensure timely completion of initiatives.
14. Facilitate successful release handovers.
Experience, Knowledge and Qualifications:
15. Proven experience in business analysis, ideally within Financial Services.
16. Keen to learn, proactive in driving career progression, and willing to take ownership.
17. Embrace change and continuous improvement.
18. Strong communication skills across multiple channels: face-to-face, email, conference calls, web meetings.
19. Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
20. Strong documentation skills to create clear and concise materials.
21. Facilitation skills to engage stakeholders and teams in reaching solutions.
22. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and familiarity with modeling tools, requirements management tools, and project management tools. Experience with digital transformation initiatives is desirable.
23. Excellent relationship-building skills to engage stakeholders and ensure successful project completion.
