DN Colleges Group is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Health & Social Care Lecturer to join our dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire learners and contribute to the delivery of high-quality education in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
This role is part time, working 26 hours per week. Work pattern: 8:30am-5pm Mon-Weds, 8:30am-12pm. The actual salary: £23,794.03 - £30,177.52.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality teaching and tutorials across health and social care qualifications.
* Support student progression and achievement through effective planning and assessment.
* Implement inclusive and creative teaching strategies using emerging technologies.
* Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance and assessments.
* Liaise with course teams, support staff and parents/carers to ensure learner success.
* Contribute to safeguarding, equality and diversity, and health and safety practices.
* Participate in promotional events, parents’ evenings and cover classes as required.
* Engage in continuous professional development and curriculum innovation.
Essential Criteria / Qualifications
* A relevant degree qualification in Health and Social Care.
* GCSE Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above.
* Experience or knowledge of working in a health and social care setting.
* Innovative and effective teaching skills, with the ability to motivate learners.
* Excellent communication, organisational and IT skills.
