About the Role
We're looking for a dynamic and highly organised Service Desk Administrator to take ownership of our Service Team operations. In this pivotal role, you will be the central hub for our installation, maintenance, and customer support functions, ensuring seamless coordination, exceptional service delivery, and full traceability from query topletion. Liaising directly with clients and engineers, resolving queries, driving process improvements, and supporting the growth of the department.If you're passionate about customer experience, operations, and delivering results, this role offers a rewarding career path in a thriving technical environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Service Champion: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing queries via phone, email, and face-to-face with professionalism and urgency.
2. Operational Coordinator: Administer and coordinate all aspects of service delivery, including installations, maintenance, and contract support, ensuring tasks arepleted to the highest standard and deadlines are met.
3. Engineer Liaison: Support the planning and scheduling of service engineers, ensuring they are well-briefed, resourced, andpliant with statutory regulations.
4. Performance & Reporting: Monitor and analyse job costing and service profitability. Maintainplete traceability on all service activities and variance invoicing.
5. Service Growth & Sales: Drive awareness of our service offering, support counter and contract sales, and identify new opportunities for department growth.
What you'll need to succeed
6. Proven experience in customer-facing administration and operations
7. Excellentmunication skills - verbal, written, and interpersonal.
8. IT proficiency, especially in service tracking, reporting, and administration systems.
What you'll get in return
This is a temporary role for 2 - 4 weeks to start immediately. Depending on performance, you may have the opportunity to apply for a permanent role within the organisation. Hours of work are to 5pm, with 1 hour for lunch. It's a hour working week, Monday to Friday. This is a fully office-based role. The hourly rate for the role is £ - £ per hour (depending on experience).
