The Role
We are looking for an In-House Service Engineer to join an established after‑sales service team based on‑site in Didcot. This is a fully in‑house position focused on the diagnosis, repair, and testing of electronic products returned from customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose and repair electronic products in an in‑house workshop
* Fault‑find down to board and component level
* Read and interpret electronic schematics and technical documentation
* Carry out functional testing and quality checks post‑repair
* Accurately log faults, repairs, and parts used
* Work closely with the wider after‑sales and technical teams
The Candidate
* Background in electronics or electrical engineering
* Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic capability
* Comfortable working to board and component level
* Able to read and understand electronic schematics
* Relevant qualifications are beneficial but not essential
* Hands‑on, methodical, and detail‑oriented approach
The Package
* Salary between £30,000 and £35,000 depending on skills and experience.
