Overview
Abacus Valuers is hiring a Part Time Retail Stocktaker. Since 1988 we have been a leading provider of quality stocktaking services throughout the UK, working with a wide range of well-known high street retailers. We are expanding and looking for people to join us asap to work on average 3 days a week. Work can fluctuate, and often more work is available.
Responsibilities
* Carry out stocktakes at client sites, with shifts typically Monday to Friday and starting very early in the morning (around 5am).
* Report your availability to the Regional Manager; scheduling is planned weekly based on this information.
* Work a variable number of hours per day depending on client requirements, with a guaranteed minimum of 5 hours pay per shift.
* Support travel arrangements; travel time is paid except for the first hour to and from work.
* Be flexible to maximise the number of days you can work.
* Contribute to a team environment and maintain reliability and conscientiousness on the job.
Qualifications and Training
* Experience is not essential as full training will be provided.
* A driving licence and a vehicle are required to reach local meet points where car sharing to job sites occurs.
Opportunities and Application
* There are good prospects for progression to Stocktake Team Leader positions within this region for the right candidate. The majority of our management team started as Stocktakers.
